Summary

We collect very little: anonymous usage analytics, and (if you subscribe) your email address. We don't sell your data. We use cookies for analytics and, on parts of the site that show ads, for ad personalization.

What we collect

Anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4: page views, time on page, country / region (city-level at most), device type. No personally identifying information.

Email address, only if you sign up for the newsletter. We use Mailchimp to send the newsletter; Mailchimp's privacy policy applies to data they store on our behalf.

Cookies:

• _ga and related Google Analytics cookies, for usage measurement.
• Google AdSense cookies for ad personalization, once ads are enabled on the site.
• Mailchimp cookies, if you visit via a link in our newsletter.

What we don't do

• Sell your data to third parties.
• Email you with sponsored content — the newsletter is for new stories only.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe: every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link.
• Delete your data: email koalanovels@gmail.com and we'll remove your address and any associated data within 30 days.
• Opt out of analytics: use a browser extension or Google's official analytics opt-out.

Children

Our content is intended for readers 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via newsletter or a banner on the home page.
